Project Green | Beach Clean Up
“Conservation is a state of harmony between men and land.” – Aldo Leopold
Every successful business grows through the act of being ethical and eco-friendly for the generations to come. In recent years, there has been a global shift towards sustainable business practices as companies are now reducing their waste and greenhouse gas emissions thanks to the push they are receiving from consumers that are aware of ethical business practices.
As a company that continually grows from the input and feedback of our community, we took time to rethink our strategies as a business and came up with a way to make a change.
Thus, on the 13th of December 2019, CAF ventured out to start a project named “Project Green” that focuses on integrating environmentally-friendly practices in the business as well as enriching our communities about the importance of being sustainably aware of our surrounding area.
We began by holding beach cleanups at various crowded beaches in Kuwait to educate individuals on the importance of taking care of our environment. The amount of trash and plastic found on the beach illuminated several ways in which Kuwait suffers from a marine plastic issue, which has widened our perspective on several topics and shaped us to start implementing green policies in our business, both internally and externally.
Over the next few years, CAF aims to go fully green.
